Rasasi Hawas Boa is a fresh tropical-green, fruity, woody fragrance with a warm sweet drydown. It’s quite different from the original Hawas: less of that sweet aquatic/bubblegum style and more crisp exotic fruit → aromatic woods/incense → creamy vanilla-vetiver. Rasasi lists it as a 2026 limited-edition men’s EDP, created in collaboration with fragrance creator Ciaran Flanagan, aka FragranceFlan. 🐍 What Hawas Boa smells like Opening: Madagascar pomelo, prickly pear, green apple and orange blossom. Imagine biting into a cold, tart green apple alongside juicy prickly pear, with pomelo providing a slightly bitter citrus snap. The orange blossom smooths it out. To my reading of the notes, this should come across as juicy, crisp, tropical and green rather than syrupy-sweet. Heart: Tonka bean, driftwood, Flowerpool and olibanum/frankincense. This is where Boa gets more interesting. The bright fruit begins to settle and you get sun-dried/salty wood, aromatic sweetness and a slightly smoky resinous quality. Tonka adds softness and sweetness while the frankincense keeps the fragrance from becoming simple fruit candy. Drydown: Rasasi officially lists sandalwood, Ambronova, vetiver and vanilla. � That should leave a smooth, warm, woody, slightly earthy-green vanilla trail with the earlier tropical freshness still lingering in the background. So I'd describe the overall DNA as: 🍏 Crisp green apple + 🍊 tart pomelo + 🌵 watery prickly pear → 🌸 aromatic freshness → 🪵 driftwood + smoky incense → 🌿 vetiver + creamy vanilla + sandalwood.
