@nanniemariaskitchen: My brother had called an ambulance in the morning as he had severe back pain all night. He called work that he wouldn’t be in and his ex partner. She called us and was indicated to her that it wasn’t serious enough to go to the hospital. We all decided to go to the hospital later that morning. He coded during a scan and was being kept alive until family arrived. He had never been admitted to a QLD hospital in the 20 years he had lived there so they had no contact details to call family. If it wasn’t for his eldest daughter feeling the urgency to call her Father and the social worker answering his phone and informing her to get to the hospital asap that any family made it in time. As soon as we were given this information 3 cars from different parts of Brisbane were making their way to the hospital and I unfortunately failed to make it in time. My Brother from calling the ambulance and arriving at the hospital had died in the space of 2 hours#fyp#grief#brother#emergencyservices#menshealth
