🐾 Pulled by @lets.rescue.dogs 🐾 🆘️🚨🆘️ STATUS URGENT ~ CAN be given the 💉☠️ at any time without IMMEDIATE rescue pull 🆘️🚨🆘️ Mila must be pulled by a rescue ASAP or she will get the needle & freezer. That's not an exaggeration or embellishment. Despite some people's inaccurate opinion that smalls don't need help getting out of shelters like Devore, Mila must secure rescue pull ASAP to leave the shelter alive. Foster that can support Mila through medical care, reputable rescue, & of course medical pledges are needed. Sharing Mila far & wide is how she has a chance at securing these things. 🏥 Medical notes: 06/02/2026 06/02/26 seen by third party vet for dragging front right limb. QAR, did well for PE Mild dental calculus noted Abrasion with slight purulent discharge right dorsal elbow non-weight bearing right thoracic thims with swelling over right antebracium. No crepitus or swelling of long bones noted under sedation. No dislocation noted. Once shaved there appears to be a smoression injurty (eg rubber band or tie) at the proximodorsal aspect of the antebracium. Patient unwilling or unable to extend her carpus- suspect ptential nerve injury NSAID panel 3V rads forelimbs: no fractures, dislocations, or bony abnormalities observed. Significant soft tissue swelling of right front limb Dx: cellulitis, skin wounds, possible nerve damage keep in a clean comfortable environment keep e-collar on until directed otherwise administer medications as directed Rx: meloxicam 1.5mg/ml 0.25ml PO SID x 5 days Clavamox 62.5mg 1 tab BID x 10 days Recheck every 7-14 days until limb has improved, if no improvement further testing should be considered. Dog is to be rescue only at this time due to continued veterinary care needed 06/04/26 DOG IS BAR, EATING AND DRINKING WNL.
