If you hair isn’t lasting, don’t curl on a fresh wash. Use a smaller barrel to curl your hair. And don’t brush them out until you are leaving the home

I think it’s also the way that you’re pulling them out. You need to pull them out to shape the curl not just rip them out of your hair

As a girlie who could never get her curls to last, a few things that helped is to always style it when your hair is dirty. Like if you know you want to curl your hair, don’t wash it that day. Another thing is hair spray. I did comp cheer and this is what we always used and those curls didn’t move AT ALL. Also don’t brush out your curls until after your hair spray has been sprayed and dried!! Makes a huge difference!! Also works to keep your makeup in place too 😅

As someone who could never get her curls to stay, put mousse(I use the Kristin Ess one) right before curling your hair while it’s dry then brush it, then curl it with a wand and let it cool off. Flip hair and only use a parting comb if you’re going to brush it out. I’m from Louisiana where we have horrible humidity and they stay when I do this! My hair in Costa Rica where it’s also very humid down below!!! Side note, I also use a skinny wand so the curls are tighter

I feel like the Velcro ones aren’t the best you could do like regular curls and get pins and clip them in and use hair spray that’s what I use and make sure to let your hair fully cool down

roller sets aren’t going to give you curls they last they give your voluminous blowouts (gorg) try using a light mousse when you blowdry, add texture spray before and after curling, brush out when completely cool

Girl I SWEAR by heatless curls!! I literally do it with my robe strap, put my bonnet over it then sleep on it. Curls literally never fail!!

okay so i like my hair fresh when i style it! I wash my hair then put in amika leave in conditioner, humidity spray and there version of moose, then I blow dry and style and it usually last for 2-3 days!

You can try to put a tiny bit of hair spray before you curl it that way it’s not crunchy but will hold that’s what I would do for dance

Use a heat protectant that has hairspray in it then use a wide tooth cone to brush the curls apart after they fully cool. Then top it off with another light hold hair spray🥰 (as a hairstylist). Also when taking roller out don’t just pull then straight out you have to twist them in the direction of the curl!!
