It is never anonymous. Whenever we do anonymous surveys, they always know who has not completed their survey yet. critical thinking people if they know you haven’t completed your survey. It is not anonymous.

It depends on the type of complaint. General HR type complaints are unregulated, and the company may use that against you. Formal whistleblower complaints are however serious business and the company will be very cautious about using that against you

I can’t tell you how many letters I have read that people send into HR. I was a supervisor for years and they always showed us. Some were anonymous and some were not. And yes we used it.
