@alvwps: The heartwarming reunion between giant panda Fu Bao and her South Korean caretaker, Kang Cheol-won, has gone viral globally after the two reconnected at the Shenshuping Panda Base in Sichuan, China. Fu Bao was sent to China in April 2024 under international agreements. Fans have been deeply moved by footage showing her instantly recognizing her beloved "Grandpa Panda" after months apart. When keeper Kang Cheol-won called out her name from behind the safety barrier, Fu Bao immediately paused and dropped her food. She stood on her hind legs, turned toward the familiar voice, and approached the fence to be close to him. The interaction proved that giant pandas possess strong cognitive memories and form deep bonds with lifelong caretakers. Fu Bao Panda ...Born in July 2020 at Everland Resort in South Korea, she was the first giant panda naturally born in the country. Affectionately nicknamed the "Princess of Everland," roughly 5.5 million people visited her during her time in South Korea.
