It’s helped me so much with my anxiety in that I don’t have these looming thoughts of “ should I or should I not” instead I make my decision & stick with it. Includes relationships, I haven’t had any desire to reach out to anyone that disturbs my progress.

Of course cortisol much needed for our bodies, but in excess it’s not good for you… so what are the potential repercussions of these cortisol changes while on Reta?

My anxiety got SO MUCH WORSE after starting Reta. I even started at a very low dose. However, I also went down two doses on my Testosterone pellets at the same time, so I’m trying to figure out if it’s the Reta or a combination of the two. It’s been awful😅

So would glp1 glp2 and glp3 (reta) not be ideal for someone with autonomic dysfunction which causes high BP since it sounds like they all flare the autonomic system up?

There’s no increase in anxiety in the studies because they actually filtered out anyone who has any anxiety including people who have any mental disorders. That’s why there are many different outcomes in the bigger population.

Correct, however the answer is often simpler. People use food to reduce anxiety ( drugs and alcohol) Reta and glp1s reduce the very thing that used to solve your anxiety problem..

I’ve also found that as diabetic medications it lowers blood sugar which in non diabetics would be too low. And with appetite suppression you’re not restoring what was lowered. Hypoglycemic events feel awfully similar to anxiety. Take it from someone who has hypoglycemia and has had many hypoglycemic events.
