@sbsnews_au: Russian President Vladimir Putin has ruled out meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in response to Zelenskyy’s open letter requesting a sit-down between the leaders to end the war in Ukraine. Speaking at an economic forum in his home city of Saint Petersburg, Putin said he doesn’t believe there is a point in meeting until both nations “find a solution”. Russia has demanded control of Ukraine's eastern Donbas region as well as sweeping political and military restrictions on its neighbour. Ukraine and its allies have ruled the conditions are an equivalent to capitulation and third-party peace talks have failed to bring the sides closer. The West never negotiate in good faith. They can negotiate for temporary peace so that they can restock, re arm and plan on how to attack Russia further.
