In front of the entire school, students, teachers, and parents this time around. My dad was seated where parents were seated. Usually parents will come out to snap pictures with their kids when they won plenty awards. My dad did not come out and honestly I understood. The teacher had changed my name from Prince-Charles Toby to Princess Charles Toby. I literally could see the confused look on parents faces. I think they thought that was my actual name. It followed me till I graduated.

This doesn't happen only in schools. Some parents also use words that unknowingly damage their children's confidence. As a result, many children find it easier to open up to strangers than to their own parents, which can leave them vulnerable to wrong advice and negative influences.
