I live in Tennant Creek, and while there are a lot of negatives, there are also a lot of positives! The community is great. If visitors are sensible, vigilant, and kind, they usually don’t have any problems. This little slice of the world is unique and beautiful!

stayed overnight in the motel there once. dead lizard floating in the pool and 'live entertainment' was a drunk guy on guitar. worst buffet I ever had. great town!

We were there for Territory Day a couple of days ago. Nothing wrong with the place. A lot of investment about to go through the area with a new gold mine
