@thesameerproject: The lack of funds didn’t allow us to Eid clothes distributions last week but our partner at Small Steps Project funded shoes distributions! Around a month ago, The Sameer Project filmed a boy in Beit Lahia using tin cans to walk on rubble. The video went viral because it showed the lengths people go to due to the lack of most basic goods. The Sameer Project went to the camp where this kids lives, Salateen Camp in Beit Lahia, and provided 149 pairs of shoes for all the kids living there. Each shoe cost around $12.60 so the total for all shoes was $1882. This includes 11% commission. With the temperatures rising, we would love to protect little feet.
