Not sure if anyone has to deal with this or if it’s just me, but Doxie Dad does not care as much about the structure as much as I do. This is maybe where my Anxious Dog Mom persona comes out, but as the parent of a reactive dog… we just always need to be on alert. I went away for ONE WEEKEND and suddenly Gunter forgets half of his training. He’s barking at the TV, he’s barking at ME when I come through the door, he’s not wearing his ecollar, he’s not engaged with me on a walk…. And worst of all, he casually made himself at home on The Big Bed. The Big Bed is our boundary. Gunter is NOT allowed bc no amount of training was going to get him to use the stairs and with him being prone to IVDD, it wasn’t helping. The fact that he went on the Big Bed like it was no big deal shows that he’s been living a lawless life 😂 Gunter is not going to like the next couple of days. We’re doing a reset aka boot camp!! #dogmom #dogdad #DogTraining #dogs #dogsoftiktok
