my whole life I have tried to help people, to my own detriment at times and never once thought I was hurting myself in this way. In looking back I now understand why I felt stuck. It is time for me to put that energy into me. ✨️❤️

I put myself and my dreams last in my last relationship. I didn't see the error in my ways and learn my life lesson until after he broke up with me after a 12.5 year relationship. His dreams and goals became mine and I forgot what mine were. Since then I struggled with figuring out who I am, what I want, and how to get it. But I am working on myself and my skills improving myself. I've come to the conclusion that if this is selfish then so be it.
