@africancorevideosyt: African history, biblical history, Christianity, the Middle East, and ancient civilizations all play a role in understanding the origins of the Bible. This video explores the argument that the Bible emerged from the ancient worlds of Africa and Western Asia—not Europe—and examines how later empires influenced the way biblical history was presented. The discussion focuses on the geography of scripture, the cultures of the ancient Near East, Egypt, Ethiopia, and Israel, and how religious imagery changed as Christianity spread across different regions of the world. It also raises questions about who the biblical figures were and how history has shaped their portrayal. In this video, you'll learn: • Where the events of the Bible took place • The connection between Africa and biblical history • How Christianity spread beyond its original regions • Why biblical imagery changed over time • How culture influences the way scripture is understood This video explores history, geography, faith, and the origins of biblical traditions through an educational lens. #africanhistory #BlackHistory #biblehistory #education

Many of the traditions, stories, and cultural influences found in the Abrahamic religions can be traced back to earlier civilizations, including ancient Egypt and other African cultures that existed long before them.

You do realise that the New Testament was written in Greek don't you? The fact Paul and the apostles preached firstly in Ephesus in Turkey which is where Mary the Mother of Jesus and John the Evangelist migrated after the crucifixion. Mary Magdalene also went to Southern France. The first Christian Emperor of Rome was Constantine who was from York in Britain. Constantine established the Eastern Roman or Byzantine Empire in Constantinople which was inhibited by Greek people for the next 1,000 years. Also, the first Christian Martyr was a Hellenic Jew called Stephen. This ishouldnt be a surprise as Egypt, Persia and Judea were conquered by Alexander the Great and were heavily Hellenised. Judea was also occupied by the Romans. What's more the Egyptian Pharoahs for 300 years before Christ was born were Ptolemaic or Macedonian Greek, They established the city and library of Alexandria..The Persian Empire was also Greek and became the Seleucid Empire. The first alphabet was developed by the Phoenicians in conjunction with their Greek trading partners and this Greek alphabet formed the basis of all modern Indo-European languages from Hittite to Sanskrit, Latin, German, Latin, French, English etc etc. The Old Testament was written In Hebrew but only transmitted orally until the Septuagint was written in Koine Greek at the behest of Alexander. This allowed the bible to be standardised and shared, the subsequent bibles were translated into Ethiopian Geez, Latin, Greek and then English which along with the printing press allowed for the transmission of scripture to the entire world. John 1.1 says "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.". Do you understand this Word was...Greek. The concept of the Christ as Logos is also distinctly Greek. Do you really think the Greek, Mediterranean or European people had nothing to do with the spreading the Word of God?

Stop arguing over nonsense, you’re missing the most important point about Jesus. He died for all of us and resurrected on the 3rd day. It pissed me off when people complain about pointless things like what Jesus skin color is. Keep your eyes upon Jesus

The foundational scriptures were penned in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek by approximately 40 different human authors.
The Torah / Pentateuch: Traditionally written by Moses around 1400 BCE (though later compiled and standardised by scribes.
standardized by scribes). The Kings, Scribes, and Prophets: Men like David, Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezra wrote the remaining books of the Old Testament.
The Apostles and Evangelists: In the 1st century CE, figures like Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, and Peter wrote the Gospels and letters that formed the New Testament.
The Septuagint (c. 250 BCE): A team of 70 Jewish scholars in Alexandria translated the Hebrew scriptures into Greek.
The Latin Vulgate (c. 400 CE): Saint Jerome translated the entire Bible into Latin, which became the standard text of Western Europe for over a millennium.
King James VI/I disliked the popular Geneva Bible because its marginal notes questioned the "divine right of kings". In 1604, he commissioned a brand-new, politically neutral translation.
The King James Version was produced by 47 scholars and clergymen from the Church of England. They were divided into six committees across three locations:
