Standards matter,but so does discernment.Don't mistake imperfect wording for poor character a good man won't always say the perfect thing in the moment.If you're so focused on spotting red flags and players, you risk rejecting a genuine man a good coach while holding out for a perfect script. Character reveals itself over time, not in a single sentence, so choose wisely and give real discernment a chance to work.

There is no school for proposing. With too much movies and pop culture, you guys have created expectations of what we should say and do which might not really reflect the intentions. Some are good at talking but few can live it. The first guy might not really mean you were just an “option” but it’s not always easy to tell a girl you are there for marriage some think you are desperate. Some want someone serious while others get scared when you seem so serious and can’t just assume what suits the next person. You will never understand what we go through but I have lost girls I REALLY loved for just not saying the right words; it hurts.
