One caveat is that mike and chester wrote as soon as he joined. it seemed to take pressure off of Mike having to do it all himself. Mike was still the leader of course but he describes it like he and Chester created LP together and i would say thats accurate.

I never knew about Chester's early life, but I always felt something in his screams. it's always the people who are hurting who go out of their way to make sure no one else feels that way. some of that music saved my life, and I'm sure the same is true for thousands if not millions of others. life is really difficult right now. but I'm gonna keep going. if you're reading this and you're in a bad spot, this is your sign to keep going, too. for Chester 💙

Mike is a musical genius it amazes me how labels overlooked this talent. Chester...man...Chester was just something else. best voice of our time these guys saved me. im so lucky I got to see them back in the early 2000s. R.I.P Chester.
