@lmhservices: The quote always feels expensive. Right up until you're paying for the same job twice. The guys in the trade know. #HVAC #HVACTech #HVACLife #ContractorHumor #BlueCollarLife #YouGetWhatYouPayFor
cheapest price dosen't always mean bad, sometimes its someone starting out to if he's good and I can save 5000 dollars I will

Customers tend to not see any difference in hvac companies but obvisouly there is so when they ask why are you more expensive ? I show them two pictures one is an Applebees steak one is a steak you’d buy at a fancy restaurant and then I ask them from these two pictures what are some assumptions you have for both ? Well ones cheaper and ones more expensive yes what do you think the chef is like at Applebees ? HVAC is no different you pay for what you get if you want the Applebees steak call the guy selling Goodman out of his garage otherwise pay a premium for the good steak the good service and the trained chef

I’m starting my side business as an HVAC technician. I have insurance and I’m certified. My prices are low because I’m just starting out. But I know I do good work and I also don’t like to rip people off.

Nah price doesn’t dictate quality. I’ve had 18k hvac installs and 8k installs. It’s all the same. Depends on the company more

All the companies that rip people off say this. "If you hire a company cheaper than us they're just a chuck in a truck with no license or insurance and they'll do a bad job" The reality is most bigger companies that charge a lot have crews that shotgun these systems in as fast as humanly possible and it's more likely that they are the ones who will do sub par work.
