I just do not care enough about Nolan to be bothered by movie format tbh. We don't even have a 70mm screen in France anyways. The only reason I'm seeing Odyssey in theaters at all is that I have an unlimited pass & I watch all new releases

Or I just won’t watch it at all now. Cuz, why bother? Like I wanted to see this movie but not badly enough to pay for imax. I was perfectly context to just see it at a regular theater cuz I thought the screen is just smaller. But if I’m missing huge chunks of the visuals unless I shell out to go to an extra special cinema? Fuck that. I’ll keep my money, thanks. Maybe I’ll watch it on a plane in 10 years.
