Being born and raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, I was forced to do a lot of things without my consent. One of those things was going door to door delivering Jehovah‘s word to unsuspecting people at their homes. This organization brainwashes it’s people into thinking that Jehovah can listen to every one of their thoughts and read their mind and heart and give them this idea that they are supposed to go door-to-door to deliver God’s news. It was always such a strange concept. It was always started off with everybody meeting together and reading this thing called the the daily text, which was something given by the leaders of the Jehovah’s Witness organization. We were supposed to base our day and our service off of that text later we would go get our map of where we were gonna go in the neighborhood and we would start knocking on doors this gave me so much anxiety and I hated every second of it, but I was forced to do so and I also had this idea in the back of my mind thinking that I wasn’t gonna make it into God‘s kingdom if I didn’t do this, and I didn’t believe fully in my heart that I had to do this. I can always remember my heart just pounding as I was walking up to the house, like trying to go over my lines in my head, knowing that if I messed up the person that was with me would lecture me in the car about it. We also had to write down every single thing that we did when we went out in service so our hours spent what magazines we gave the homes if they were home or not all these things it was just such a bizarre thing to do and I started doing that as a child that’s basically as soon as I was able to talk. Such a bizarre way to grow up. 11 inch heelless shoes made by @Pleaser Shoes
