Had the same issue. The interior lights weren't working throughout the entire car, while the open door warning light was on (but dimmer than when a door was actually open). Sometimes the problem would disappear and come back again. Turned out there were exposed wires shorting out (in my case, under the corrugated sleeve near the trunk hinge). Insulated the wires — problem solved.
