One of the reasons they quit making fast commercial jets like this is because the income disparity has grown and the top 5% has gotten so rich, they just buy private jets now. There's no more market for it

My Dad made the bolts for the outer skin. they had a hole in the middle for the rods to brace the skin. They had to be exactly 28⁰ without interfering the thread. Now he has retired I have all his M.O.D stamped tools

There was also blue concorde in short time period. Pepsi leased and painted it for advertisement. Because of that blue color top speed was lower.

If it wasn't full of passengers, some of them would be asked to get up and change seats to adjust the plane's balance as the amount of fuel decreased.
