I only buy super unleaded in Canada for my small engines. Anything they mix ethanol into gums up your carburetor.

Just pump a couple of gallons in your vehicle. Then fill up your gas can for the mower. Or get non ethanol at Murphys at Walmart.

The sign is there to cover the gas stations, but so they can't get sued for not providing the correct octane level of gasoline or the correct ethanol level of gasoline.

if the pump only shows signs for up to 10% ethanol can they still dispense e15? I haven't seen any stations with e15 signage around me yet

Seems like the right move is to have a separate hose for the E15. Not just gas cans but a lot of motorcycles don’t hold 4 gallons and that’s assuming they’re on E

I don’t think it means the consumer is violating the law, I think it means that the fuel may violate the law that sets regulations for the fuel. Basically exactly what you are saying except that it’s informative and not supposed to be scary.
