The best way to plant carrots is to make a gel by boiling cornstarch and water until it has the consistency of gravy. Let it cool, stir in your carrot seeds, and put the mixture into a Ziploc bag. Snip a tiny corner off the bag and squeeze the "gel-seed" mixture directly into your planting spaces ❤️

I never thin my carrots , you can make a “carrot slurry” to help plant the carrot seed evenly (almost looks like frog eggs) it is cornstarch & water heated up untill its gel like then cooled off & add seeds ( if it’s not room temp you’ll kill the seed)

Plant small batches at a time. So like 1-2 rows of each, and then 2 weeks later plant another 1-2 rows, and so on. It keeps your harvest coming throughout the season instead of them all being done at the same time. You can do it with peas and beets too if you plant those.
