my theory is. the more you “go down” the life forms will degrade and become more the entity we know from the yt series. and the closer we are from the entrances or upper levels the duplicates are more refined and more accurate to the copy of itself.

I'm hoping Kane clarifies this at least a little. I know when folks move from a website to a movie they might change/retcon things. I'd love to know if the movie is connected to the web series, and if it is, if the bacteria is still cannon to his creation
