My problem with several of these types is that the top comes off when I'm working and gets lost. Then there is nothing to keep the lead in. I want the top to securely screw on so it won't accidentally fall off either when I reach for it and pull on the wrong part or it gets caught on something and gets pulled off. How do these work?

Love the magnet but the sharpener on the side it’s just a deal breaker, has to be on the top!
