how have you been able to balance with only one crutch? i got cleared for partial WB on friday and my doctor said when im comfortable i can go down to one crutch but i find it SO hard to balance without the second😭

This is such good progress!! I am 6.5 weeks post op and was cleared for 1 hr a day of full weight bearing, those first steps were crazy!

Wow that's amazing progress!! Honestly I couldn't even get to this point in my boot. I was walking like you from your "a week ago" video, and then I just started walking barefoot. My Aircast was hurting my shin and knee if I didn't use a crutch

I just got cleared for 75%-100% weight barring in the next two weeks and to be out of my boot and start wearing shoes again with a ankle brace!

Amazing progress! Thanks for posting this. I’m 5.5w post ORIF for a trimalleor fracture. In a boot & about to transition to one crutch. So excited to be at your stage! What shoe are you using on your healthy foot? Need to find a decent pair of comfortable sneakers.

My cast should come off tomorrow, I'm actually ready to be in a boot hopefully I can get around alot better, you have given me hope that it will get better.

amazing! I was cleared for FWB at 8 weeks! my doctor took my boot off and from across the room said "ok come over to me" and I kind of could and just told me to practice walking a little without boot but to get more comfortable with it on. I'll be at 10 weeks on Tuesday and can now live life regularly with the boot on people think I'm milking my injury lol it truly is all mental because I didn't not think I could get to this point. good luck to all!!

I’m headed to ankle surgery on 7/2! Serious question! How to go potty when non-weight bearing? Can I extend leg and rest on heel?! I think that’s a no-no!? 🤷♀️
