The ref created the situation for sure. He didn’t protect the players health prior to less than one week of the World Cup. The ref did not understand his role of keeping everyone safe and healthy. It seems like it would be common knowledge to do so, unless there is a bias. He didn’t mind US taking knocks, but as a result, retaliation by the US caused Germany to take a couple nasty challenges that, of course, they didn’t like.💯
