I do love that you explain everything so well, don't be shy to speak a lot of this matter, people these days are not used to wait for something, to watch long videos but for the others that enjoy this stuff (me, for example) it's wonderful to have this type of content. I'm from Venezuela and I love Victorian culture so it's fascinating to listen you reading a woman's dairy with such respect and passion. keep going, girl!

Very interesting. My great grandparents were born in the early 1850s. They were Jewish and lived in Odessa in the Ukraine. In 1871 there was a pogrom in Odessa and they fled to Manchester where they had family. I do know quite a lot about them . My grandmother was their second child and one of my great aunts lived with my parents for a while and she told me quite a lot about them.
