jess: you forget to tell your younger self that, we have become the best caregiver there ever was. Most days even though Nan doesn't recognise is, knows she is loved. we live in the moment and do what we can to make her loved and happy. We are also fantastic educators about Dementia and show by our actions how to love someone we grieve for. Then add at the end, Nan would also be so proud of us!

but you still showed up everyday and helped her relive what she could remember. its so hard but I'm sure in some way you made a difference in her day. x be kind to yourself Jess and allow yourself to grieve in a way that a granddaughter should.

Beautiful 😍 reminds me of my Mum, who had Vascular dementia and I miss her so much. I do love seeing your videos, your Nan knows she is loved, that's the main thing.

it's a horrible disease my dad passed away in 2019. I looked after him for four years and it got the point where I had to put him in a home. Towards the end he didn't know anyone which is very heart breaking. You have these lovely memories and you can cherish them as long as you live. Sending all my love to you both, take care ♥️♥️♥️
