Maybe do the four panels on hinges and latches and the deck underneath them, when you are not on the deck they'll fold down on top of the deck flooring.

Install struts under the panels with hinges to angle them out and a deck under it. Add a locking mechanism for them to stay down while you are drive so it doesn’t rattle.

you can put the panels on a hinge and flip up when you want to hang out on the deck wood under the panels and it becomes like a railing you can do 2 panels and have all that dpace
