From alot of literature DID technically requires 3-4 alters minimum as it is tertiary structural dissociation which requires multiple ANPs and multiple EPs, secondary structural dissociation which is OSDD requires 1 ANP and multiple EPS, and primary structural dissociation which is C-PTSD and PTSD alone requires 1 ANP and multiple EPs, this makes the minimums 4, 3, and 2 for each of these respectively, OSDD and DID do not have maximums, PTSD/C-PTSD alone do but not alongside OSDD and DID, and the day people stop fakeclaiming based on the number of alters is the day that i will stop trying to educate people based on the literature of structural dissociation - I am a diagnosed DID system as well

My system consists of four alters currently. When someone had said it was "too low" to be real me and my friend made a joke that I gotta level up. But seriously having a low number is common and isn't a problem.
