My mom had severe heartburn like this, turns out it was her gallbladder & she needed surgery. Always better to get things checked out!! Yeah the bills suck but sometimes it’s worth it

Gastro nurse here. Sounds like maybe some gastritis? Possibly Eosinophilic esophagitis. You def need an EGD! So, if you haven’t seen a gastro doc, you def need to.

That’s how I was when I had an h.pylori infection, I fought for an upper endoscopy and also was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. Maybe look into that, after they treated my infection my heartburn decreased significantly

Please for the love of god. You need a digestive enzyme. Your stomach will not function the same after gallbladder removal and doctors will not help. Papaya enzymes work great for me. I have no gallbladder and had been suffering like this until I started using a digestive enzyme every time I eat. They are chewable and available lots of places and are cheap to get. I added a strong probiotic once a day as well. I have had NO issues since starting them 3 years ago.

I had the same situation. I had to reset my stomach for a month and ate plain, bland food : chicken , sweet potatoes , chayote , boiled egg whites , papaya , cactus , overnight oats with water and kifer . Cantaloupe, riped bananas. I didn’t eat any dairy , carbs , sugar , anything acidic, no spices. Super strict diet ! Currently gradually introducing foods again and haven’t had any issues so far but yet I’m eating a lot healthier than before.

Could be BILE reflux. It’s different than acid and does not respond to acid reflux meds

Go to the ER, tell them you’re having problems swallowing and you’ve already had a chest X-ray and ekg you need relief or a referral to a gastroenterologist asap.
