Yessir! Don’t be afraid to let em get frizzy. Once they start to loc wait at least 6-8 weeks between retwist. Wash every 2 weeks! Water is your best friend, use your hand to damp em in the morning & helps with shrinkage. Buy a good rose water from the beauty supply

I have softer fine hair, but it's thick to be fine. Eventually your locs will fatten up some. I'm 5 years locd. Best decision ever.
