I grew up fishing out in that area. 2 spots close by 1 I know you can camp is the Quincy lakes. Burke lake is the best one for fishing. You just need a parking pass. Then my wife’s favorite spot is on the river. When you get off on silica road going towards the amphitheater take a left on old vantage hwy. Then you can follow that all the way to the river. There’s a park at the end of the road. So if you walk out about 100 feet into the river the old highway is still there. You will be about shoulder deep in the river when you hit the highway. She likes to sit out there in the river on lawn chairs
