… ANYWAY. This is nick, he was me and my husbands bestfriend. He helped me pick out my wedding outfit and would send me recipes to make because he was bad at baking but always wanted a sweet treat. When I was pregnant he would “ randomly” show up at our door with his gaming laptop and sit at the end of my bed playing while I scrolled and my husband played with him. I still can’t wash the blanket he used the last time he stayed at our house. One time we had to set a baby monitor up for him ( he was a runner when he drank) in the guest room 😂 I miss Nick. Nick shot himself in November while I was pregnant and I was told over the phone while driving me and my toddler back from shopping. I almost crashed and my husband was gone on a training rotation. After I told his mom our baby was going to be named after him I miscarried. It’s men’s mental health month.
