As a California girl, this is so real. Keep all your papers and important things you never want to lose in a tote. A good one that can fit lots of stuff and always have a go bag. It makes it so easy to grab those two things and go. Your reaction is so real and you acted good. I’m glad you guys are safe that feeling is so scary. I’ve done it 6 times.

If you ever need to evacuate, make sure you take a full video of your house and your possessions (if you have time) my husband was doing this the last time we were evacuated, and I was like “wtf are you doing!?” He said it helps for insurance if you have a updated video of everything you own. Just a tip to store in the back of your mind, but hopefully will never need it!

Girl you live my area! That was so scary last night we were so lucky it didn’t get bigger we have one closer to my neighborhood this morning it should be a fun summer it’s a thing in this area for sure usually it’s later in the summer not so early so it’s concerning it’s so early this year
