I get what you’re saying but I don’t want to be mean, Ariana is 32 years old, she’s not 20 anymore, she hasn’t toured in 7 years for her so much changed in the past 7 years. When she was just starting out ofc she had a spark in her eyes and was excited bc she was starting out, she didn’t know what the future would hold for her. Also on the sweetener world tour she was depressed she was going through her worst period of her life and there’s this thing that people say that when singers are sad they hit really high notes to hide their emotions, Ariana doesn’t have anything to hide anymore, she decided to do this mini tour for us, so instead of having everyone tear her apart for one thing and another thing, let’s just enjoy it for once without any criticism, she has received enough of that the past 3 years let’s so her some love and enjoy this beautiful tour she created 🤍 ps. I’m really not trying to be mean but ever since the concert ended everyone is complaining about sm

This is how I felt too! Don’t get me wrong, her performance and vocals were AMAZING as always, but something about her seemed so empty, you can tell she didn’t have that ‘energy’ or ‘enjoyment’ as she did in her previous tours, and I really hope she didn’t do this tour because she felt obligated to. I’m still giving her the benefit of the doubt since it’s the first show and she’s back in front of a big audience after a long long time, but something did feel off about her

I feel the Same. Maybe it‘s because she is a grown Woman now which went through so much during her twenties. When we last saw her touring she was much more untroubled…I think she outgrew her old Music especially

I felt the same except for when she sang hate that I made you love me. You can tell that’s where she is right now and that performance (alongside maybe the songs from eternal sunshine) felt completely different from the others
