I saw it facing out my south window in Ontario, just a meteor or satalite reentry, lasted maybe 10 seconds, orange tail and then nothing. Not aliens.

My first answer is, you're lucky! 😊 Haven't seen one myself yet, but living close to Copenhagen means a lot of light pollution and less starry nights. You have caught a starburst, a meteor bouncing off the outer layer of our atmosphere. Notice the tail, it comes with the opposite end of the trajectory, caused by the heat melting off the surface, containing mostly ice. Though not an alien starship (still puzzles me, and definitely not something I'd trust the Gov to educate me about, or truth in general), you saw a rare visitor, a guest probably arriving from the Van Allen belt, a cluster of meteors circling the outer perimeter of our solar system. Probably a former proto-planet never being able to form, and now occasionally sending these little ones in our direction. Good call 😊🙏🌠
