Dressing just for trends is such a road to disaster. High quality fabrics, colors that look good on the wearer, seasonally practical fabrics, balance in the outfit are the keys. It is sometimes nice to add a trendy item here and there and evolve over time, but the best dressers dress to themselves, not the trends.
