Ibuki is a bit of a shocker with her unique personality and appearance. She's the most cheerful of her classmates. She's very energetic and enjoys socializing, though she constantly switches to unrelated topics during conversations. She's very forgetful, so she writes herself notes as reminders. Ibuki enjoys various strange activities, but dislikes "boring" ones like reading and studying. She has a habit of breaking the fourth wall, occasionally blurting out phrases that only the player can understand. When upset, she develops a verbal tic: repeating words or phrases two or more times. When panicking, she screams or foams at the mouth. She seems to enjoy panicking when there's no real danger, such as while watching horror movies or in a haunted house. The official artbook states that Ibuki adores cute girls, and in-game, she can often be seen admiring other girls in the game. She can flirt with both boys and girls, though this is usually just a joke. In Island Mode , during a more serious conversation with her, she says that "there are more important things in the world than temporary physical relationships"—it seems she has very little interest in romantic relationships. Instead, she is interested in a deep platonic relationship with someone she considers her soulmate (what she calls a "group member").
