The problem is access & convinience . Most of these shops are strategically located where most don’t have much of a choice but to buy from them because proper shops are far & buying in bulk isn’t an option either due to affordability & other factors.

the spaza shops are at the tail end of the problems. there's an entire value chain behind those tuck shops. it's the warehouses they keep their stock in we need to pay attention to. 🤞🏾
