This video has shown me that I got the impression that many people in South Africa are uneducated. If you listen to how some of them speak, you will understand that all this killing of foreigners, stealing, destroying their businesses, and chasing them from their houses is not because they want to fix their country. Instead, it seems some of these actions are driven by the belief that foreigners are doing better in their country than they are. Some of the people involved appear unwilling to work hard like others in different countries. I have been listening to what some of them say, and what they keep repeating is that foreigners are taking their jobs and women. They really need to go back to school and improve themselves. They should be thankful that foreigners are contributing significantly to their economy, but it is shameful that they are turning against people who are actually helping their country grow. I have also noticed that many of them do not travel outside their country to see how other normal countries operate. There also seems to be a level of lawlessness, with some cases where even police appear to allow crimes to happen in their presence. I feel their leadership is not effectively handling the situation, because in a normal country, citizens would not be allowed to take the law into their own hands without serious consequences. This kind of instability raises concerns about governance and the ability of those in authority to properly manage and maintain order in the country. They seem to forget that the world is watching them.
