Only good thing about them is connecting with your friends. Whether it’s people you know in real life or people you’ve made a relationship with by playing together. Not proud to admit it man enough to say it but a couple guys I’ve never met saved my life and they don’t even know it.

I play Doomsday: Last Survivors on my phone and it is kinda like a drug but I'm not addicted. I usually don't play anything but on my phone .... I don't use my PlayStation either

I play because it relaxes me. I am not on them all day but I do play at night so I am able to calm my brain from the day.

I mostly agree. I literally can’t play video games by myself anymore. It feels boring and pointless. I’m always down to play something with my friends though. Once or twice a year I’ll play a Minecraft or terraria world with a couple friends. I’ll probably stop playing competitive games at some point but the bi-annual survival game world with my friends is a tradition that I don’t ever wanna stop

well sir, I enjoy video games quite a bit. its a great stress reliever for me after a long shift. I think that some gaming provokes critical thinking skills, but you are absolutely correct that it can be a waste of time. I personally have a good balance of social life, family life, my career, and gaming, so it works for me pretty well. I also enjoy 2nd amendment. it depends on the person really. some people will call off work for a new game. some kids are glued to their tablets, while wasting their entire childhood. some will be addicted to microtransactions. games can be good or bad, but like anything else, moderation is critical. I enjoy your videos. have a nice day!

I think there’s a time and a place for them. But just like everything… use in moderation. I literally only play Fishing Planet a few times a year when real fishing is slow.

I enjoy the social aspect of them, the games themselves aren’t very fun anymore. I generally only play when my friends are on when they aren’t I do other hobbies. I used to play a lot more when I was younger but they are stale now.

As a gamer I mean you are right, they are technically a waste of time but I love them because they feel like you are playing inside of a movie or really good story. I would say if you watch tv or movies the same logic would apply

You just have to find your genre of games, similar to watching tv or reading books there are certain genres that just aren’t for everyone and there’s some that might ignite your passion for it intensely, if you’ve never tried it before a good game to start with would be Red Dead Redemption 2
