You’re taking the oiss right??? Wages have been falling behind inflation for decades… the reason everything is so expensive is there’s so many companies within the supply chain making record profits aswell as landlords of pubs charging exuberant amounts

This is where the owner needs to work behind the counter to help reduce that labour. instead of sitting at home or in the cafe doing nothing. soon as coffee went over $5 per coffee, we stopped buying. there are too many cafes around, half if them need to fold.

You mention $312 per hour in wages but at the same time they have a business which requires that many people meaning they make more than $312 per hour on average .... if they didn't they would simply have the 1 worker at $39 per hour and make $100 per hour turnover

This is why award wages should be removed entirely. Or moved to different days. As the 2 days they make the most amount of money are they days they have the pay the most amount of wages.

What I find interesting is it seems it really expensive & hard to have a hospitality business but there seems to be more hospitality businesses than any other type of business. No hate, just an observation.

yea but your workers are also "just trying to survive and fighting for their life" too. they have rent, food, uni and bills etc too. Also remember that your customers are the people earning minimum wage, You can't have your slice of cake and eat it too if you don't think about them or your community. It's easier said than done when you're a billionaire CEO who hasn't had to struggle much anymore. you don't get it mate.

people need to understand when inflation stay longer only rich and the govt makes more money. Middle class and lower class gets crushed to the ground. This wage rise is the disaster decision you can to do an economy which is in negative growth from past year.
