@margy_glow: I make the best brightening black soap. Let me educate a little on soaps. Wash off products in general are specifically to help cleanse the skin, maybe exfoliate but majorly to help move dirt from surface of the skin. Modern skincare has introduced adding beneficial actives to wash off products to help elevate its benefits, from being just simple cleansing to brightening + cleansing or exfoliating + cleansing or lightening + cleansing depending on the selected actives. This isn’t to take a away from its main job(cleaning), but to add to it However good a wash off product(soap) would be, they shouldn’t be relied upon solely for certain benefits or functions. That is to say if you want to brighten up your skin, your aim should be getting a brightening combo not relying solely on a brightening soap. One major reason is because wash off product simply do not stay on skin long enough to perform within a short period of time. There is absolutely no reason why you should want to glow skin up and then rely on just one body wash or soap, you’d be there for quite a while, instead build brightening routine from soap; brightening soap + brightening lotion or oil + brightening scrub.
