I was there that night and it was completely electric! that was everyone's reaction: complete shock at what was happening. it just kept building and building and we would have given that ovation for 10 more minutes if NPH hadn't stopped it. so glad I was in the right place at the right time!

what I love about Neil Patrick Harris is that he didn't just have a crazy amazing idea that he expected everyone else to magically pull off but he puts in the work and pulls it off himself. It's an insane expectation to put on others if you're not in it with them.
