@cryptotrading_insights: ICT Fair Value Gaps | Full Fill, CE & IOFED | FVG + Breaker Block: A Powerful ICT Confluence Setup 1. Full Fill A Fair Value Gap (FVG) is considered fully filled when price trades through the entire imbalance and reaches the opposite side of the gap. Bullish FVG Gap is formed during an impulsive move up. Price retraces and fills the complete FVG. Traders look for bullish confirmation before entering. Bearish FVG Gap is formed during an impulsive move down. Price retraces upward and fills the entire gap. Traders look for bearish confirmation before selling. Key Idea: Full fills often provide deeper entries but may not always occur before the market continues. 2. CE (Consequent Encroachment / Midpoint) CE is the 50% level of an imbalance, order block, or price range. How Traders Use It Premium entry in bearish setups. Discount entry in bullish setups. Often acts as a reaction point within FVGs and Order Blocks. Key Idea: The midpoint is considered the most balanced price within an imbalance. 3. IOFED (Institutional Order Flow Entry Drill) IOFED is an ICT concept used to refine entries. Bullish IOFED Identify bullish bias. Wait for a retracement. Draw the dealing range. Enter from discount levels (below equilibrium). Target liquidity above highs. Bearish IOFED Identify bearish bias. Wait for retracement. Draw dealing range. Enter from premium levels (above equilibrium). Target liquidity below lows. Key Idea: Buy in discount, sell in premium. 4. High Probability FVG Setups Not every FVG is tradable. Characteristics of High Probability FVGs Forms after liquidity sweep. Appears with Market Structure Shift (MSS). Aligns with higher timeframe bias. Located in premium or discount arrays. Created during active sessions (London/New York). Entry Wait for retracement into the FVG. Enter from CE or full fill. Place stop beyond the structure. 5. High/Low Sweep A liquidity sweep occurs when price takes previous highs or lows before reversing. Buy-Side Liquidity Sweep (BSL) Price runs above old highs. Stops of sellers are triggered. Market often reverses downward. Sell-Side Liquidity Sweep (SSL) Price runs below old lows. Stops of buyers are triggered. Market often reverses upward. Trading Process Mark equal highs/lows. Wait for sweep. Look for MSS. Enter from FVG or Order Block. 6. FVG + Order Block A powerful confluence setup. Bullish Setup SSL is swept. Bullish MSS forms. Bullish Order Block creates a bullish FVG. Price retraces into the FVG/OB. Enter long. Bearish Setup BSL is swept. Bearish MSS forms. Bearish Order Block creates a bearish FVG. Price retraces into the zone. Enter short. Advantages Strong institutional footprint. Precise entries. Better risk-to-reward ratios. 7. FVG + Breaker Block A Breaker Block is a failed Order Block that later acts as support or resistance. Bullish Setup SSL is swept. Bullish MSS occurs. Breaker Block forms. Bullish FVG develops. Price retraces into the Breaker + FVG. Enter long. Bearish Setup BSL is swept. Bearish MSS occurs. Bearish Breaker Block forms. Bearish FVG develops. Price retraces into the zone. Enter short. Why It Works Combines market structure shift. Uses liquidity engineering. Provides highly refined entries. #ICTSMC #ICTTrading #SmartMoneyConcepts #Liquidity #FVG
