my man and my best friend were the only two who called me out and held me accountable when I started drinking too heavily and I did use my trauma and ptsd as an excuse and they validated the ptsd but made it extremely clear that didnt mean i get an excuse to fall to the bottom of a bottle. They helped me turn it around, and without alcohol sat with me while i finally confronted those demons
