I know a lot of you are worried but I mean this seems overkill 6 brackets, 18 bolts. But what do you guys think ?

You could make a air dam in the front to block wind from going under but I think you are good

Deflection of the air would be a solid choice.

Raise them slightly in the middle so the rain won't sit on them.

Deflector will be good..But it’s not the highway speeds that would rip it off..Most likely Hail or Hurricane winds might be an issue..you can fabricate a deflector and hard cover that can role forward as a sunshade canoby.. or flip to the side.

Completely fine if they blow off bolted like that you have bigger things to worry about than the solar panels 😂

You can add a deflector to keep the wind from going under the panels and only going over the top.

I think that is more than secure

Could always angle them a little if you are worried about the wind.. increase the height of the bracket on the back side and the air will push down

You’re more than good. Although it deflector will help fuel mileage.

id make a deflector and cover the opening at the front just to be safe. even if its not necessary for the security of the panels it would help with drag and fuel economy

get an air dam of some sort to deflect wind up and over them or you'll get vibration when youre driving. something simple like a rounded piece of tube in front of the front panel is really all you need.

What would be cool if you could make a reel system so you can angle them up and use more space while you are parked. So you could make a solid floor and still use as a patio area without the panels taking up to much room
