I tried to do Hot Breath Man Adventure, but the cast member said they were down for maintenance. Apparently the Hot Breath Man had just eaten ice cream and had to wait for his breath to heat up again.

this may sound controversial, and I don't know if this counts as "insider information", but my dad was the rat wrangler for about half a decade. He told me that the hot breath man adventure was initially intended to be an extension of the world's fair. It was rejected because the breath was not hot enough. Which is just a lie the breath was infact hot enough, it just wasn't moist enough for the newly emerging modern audience. This is why we have imagineers.

Maybe I’m just aging myself, but I remember when this ride took place in the parking lot outside of Disney and you didn’t have to pay to experience it. Yes, it was many years ago, but I’m glad to see they took it mainstream, even though the outcome was… unfortunate?

Hot take: Lilo and Stitch Hot Breath Man Galaxy Adventure was better than the original. His breath was way hotter, which is what Walt would have wanted but the technology just didn't exist at the time

Yeah, I miss Hot Breath Man Adventure, it was my favorite ride. And when they reopened it I was so happy, and now it’s closed again. I miss it. They should reopen it.
